5 ways to better your blog

1. De clutter your sidebars. All those awards and various blog network buttons taking up all your space? Move them to a post and give it a previous date. Now, link to that post on your blog.

For example, create a new post called “Awards”.
Now, at the bottom, click post options and put a date that has already passed on there so it won’t show up as recent. Post it.
Copy the link of the post. Go to dashboard, create a new page element (preferably links) and add the copied link to the element and label it Awards. Now, add it to your sidebar. You can also do this with blogrolls, and much more.

This will make your sidebars a lot less cluttered.

2. If you are feeling bored and don’t know what to say, chances are you shouldn’t blog. Wait until you have something to say.

3. When someone comments, comment back. Whether it be in the same post (what I usually do), or visit their blog and leave a comment, but let them know what you are commenting about if you do visit their blog.

4. You don’t have to do the same meme more than once, just because someone tagged you. Switch it up. Change the questions and do something different. 100 random things about you is a good way to start. It took me 3-4 days to do that one.

5. Have an appealing blog. One that looks good on the eyes. It will give readers a better feel of who you are, by how your blog looks.
